This print actually ended up fairly different than what I had originally planned. I was going to do sort of a "evolution of the chicken" thing, from junglefowl to the wide array of fancy chickens, but I actually have no idea what would have been developed first, or which one should be the most modern, etc. So then I decided just to portray different styles of birds, without getting too hung up on correctness of form. They really are not meant to be "standard" birds, they are just different body shapes for different purposes. The title came to mind while I was working on it.
